In het gewenste hotel is een standaard kamer inbegrepen. Upgrades zijn uiteraard mogelijk, zoals een upgrade naar een suite, deluxe kamer, of een familiekamer bijvoorbeeld. De mogelijkheden verschillen per hotel. Informeer bij ons naar de upgrade opties.

Dagelijks staan er excursies op het programma onder begeleiding van ervaren Engelssprekende natuurgidsen, inbegrepen in het arrangement. Andere talen zijn op aanvraag.
- Reisbegeleiding;
Gedurende de reis bieden wij per bestemming in Brazilië lokale vertegenwoordiging ter plaatse bij wie u terecht kunt voor tips, reisondersteuning en optionele excursies. Zo geniet u van de vrijheid van het individuele reizen, maar wel altijd met ondersteuning ter plaatse.

De vluchten naar- en in Brazilië worden aangeboden door verschillende luchtvaartmaatschappijen, aangezien er dagelijks diverse opties zijn om te vliegen naar- en in Brazilië. Wij zoeken altijd samen met u naar het best passende schema voor de scherpste tarieven op de gewenste reisdagen. Dit verschilt per dag en per klant en om deze reden zijn de vluchten niet opgenomen in de reissom van de voorbeeld arrangementen op onze site.
Voor deze reis adviseren wij aan te vliegen op Manaus, vanwaar het arrangement begint.

Day 1: An early morning departure from Manaus, in the company of a naturalist guide, will lead adventurers past small settlements and evolving primary rainforest, on a scenic two-hour drive to the Tropical Tree Climbing Guest House. Having met the team and been welcomed into the lodge with drinks, orientation and snacks, the afternoon is spent enjoying a full throttle introduction to the forest, with a beautiful walking trail and first exciting tree climbing expedition. Learn from the experts as participants are guided through the best techniques and easiest ways to scale these giants, followed by a safety briefing and equipment check, before starting the adventure. The spectacular reward for all tree climbing efforts comes in the form of a spectacular treetop hammock; perfect for taking in unrivalled views of the forest canopy. Gazing across the Amazon from the comfort (and tethered safety) of a hammock, at such a height, is a truly special and privileged sight, not easily forgotten.
As the sun begins to set, the early evening transformation of the forest is just as enjoyable, as colorful birds and endless views are replaced with bioluminescent fungi, fireflies and all manner of nocturnal creatures. Absorbing the nighttime ambience of the Amazon offers an entirely different perspective on this natural wonderland, all before gradually making the walk back to the lodge for a delicious, home-cooked meal.
Note: Each night, after dinner, guests have the opportunity for further explorations or question and answer sessions with expert local guides.
Day two: The first full day at the lodge begins with an informative trip to the nearby Edible Garden, a place which aims to simultaneously highlight the importance of reforestation and conservation, while also examining and explaining the potential food sources to be found in the Amazon. Here, as well as gaining a greater understanding of the particular threats facing this area of jungle, guests will see first-hand the efforts being made to encourage local communities to be responsible for their own, small-scale food production, making use of the plentiful supply of fruit and unexpected edible treats which can be found in the area.
This afternoon and evening promise to be yet another unforgettable adventure, with a survival skills course and overnight camp under the stars. Set up your own shelter and hammocked camp before learning essential, life-saving skills such as sourcing water, making a fire and protecting your food from would-be scavengers. Hopefully, these intrepid survival skills will not be put to the test for real just yet, and brave participants can enjoy a relaxing evening listening to the sounds of the rainforest, and surrounding streams until morning.
Days three and four: A full immersion into the rainforest continues throughout the next two days, as time is spent honing essential skills and perfecting abilities which can be used in many extreme situations, under the supervision of highly trained experts. From eating tasty bugs to making a fire from scratch, fishing by hand, sourcing water vines and even hunting with a bow and arrow, gradually becoming one with the forest is all but guaranteed.
In addition to these fun and - at times - life-saving techniques, an action-packed 48 hours in the wilderness will also include learning how to climb a palm tree without ropes, retrieve fruit from its lofty heights and even make juice from it, before finally heading back to the main guesthouse for some well-deserved comforts and a delicious meal.

Day five: After all of the adventure, a peaceful walk through the forest to a nearby hidden waterfall is perfectly in order. Spend the morning wandering through naturally sown orchids, bromeliads and tropical trees, before arriving at the waterfall for a refreshing dip in its picture-perfect plunge pool.
From here, a relaxed afternoon can then be spent either enjoying more wildlife walks, treetop vistas or visiting the nearby village of Presidente Figueiredo, where the Waimiri Atrorari indigenous store showcases numerous artworks, tapestries, literature and even traditional bow and arrows from the local region. Finally, dinner is served back at the lodge before one last night amidst the sounds of the jungle.
Day six: As the tour draws to a close, there is time for one final, freshly prepared breakfast of forest fruits and coffee, before being taken back to Manaus for your onward trip.

Amazon Emotions Jungle Lodge is situated on 667 acres of natural rainforest within the environmental protection area of Cave of the Maruaga and located at Km 144 of the highway BR 174 (direction Manaus-Boa Vista ? the same road that leads to Venezuela), in the township of Presidente Figueiredo, Amazon, Brazil. The Guest House offers three bedrooms. Each room has a private toilet and shower and is designed to accommodate up to 3 people (01 Queen Bed) and spare occupants can be accommodated in extra beds (01 Single Bed). Each room can be configured as a Single, Double or Triple Room. Considering the amount of beds in the Guest House, we have the capacity to accommodate up to 9 people per night. The rooms are designed and crafted out of wood, inspired by the traditional Caboclo's house and are each securely screened to keep insects outside.
Packages include: Return transfers airport/hotel/lodge (shared); Basic equipment for excursions; Jungle trails; Tree climbing tours; Direct donation to the Amazon Jaguar Conservation Program; Drinking water and regional juices; Standard wine, caipirinha or beer included during the dinners. In order to spend more time in the jungle, the lodge serves only two main meals: breakfast and a lunch or dinner. The lodge provides snacks in between those meals and fresh fruits are always available for your convenience with no additional costs.
